5. USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES
The digital platform operated by Egon Volgger, online services, interactive programs, emails, and advertising materials, referred to as "digital platform," may use cookies and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons to make the digital platform attractive and enable the use of certain features. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, or other electronic devices with which the digital platform can be used). These technologies allow the Site Operator to better understand their customers' usage behavior, inform them about which parts of their digital platform have been visited, and simplify and measure advertising effectiveness. The data collected through cookies and other technologies are treated as non-personal data. However, should Internet Protocol addresses (IP addresses) or similar identifiers be classified as personal data by applicable law, the Site Operator will treat these identifiers as personal data as well. If non-personal data are combined with personal data, they will be treated as personal data for the purposes of this privacy policy. The Site Operator also uses cookies and other technologies that record personal data when you use their digital platform to provide you with a comfortable and personalized experience. Certain data, such as Internet Protocol addresses (IP addresses), browser type and language, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring and ending websites and programs, operating system, timestamps, and clickstream data are automatically collected. The Site Operator uses this data to manage the digital platform, improve their services and products, analyze trends, and gain information about usage behavior on the digital platform. The Site Operator may use the collected data for marketing and advertising purposes.
The Site Operator uses its own installation of the open-source software Matomo for website analysis (usage statistics) for data protection reasons. IP anonymization is naturally activated, and the server location is in the EU. Matomo stores a cookie on your device after your consent.
6. GOOGLE ADSENSE AND DOUBLECLICK FOR PUBLISHERS (ADVERTISING)
The Site Operator uses Google AdSense and DoubleClick for Publishers, online advertising services provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Google AdSense and DoubleClick for Publishers use "cookies," text files that are stored on your computer and allow for an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google AdSense will not be combined with other data from Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser accordingly. Further information on data usage for advertising purposes by Google, as well as setting and opt-out options, can be found on Google’s websites:

7. USE OF “REQUEST FORM” AND “COLLECTIVE REQUEST FORM TO WISHLIST”
These forms generate an email to the accommodations you have selected. The data you enter will be electronically processed by the accommodation providers to process your request. The Site Operator saves a copy of your request on the web server if the Alpine-Bits interface has been activated for the accommodation provider(s). Through this interface, your request is transferred to the accommodation provider’s local hotel software (e.g., ASA). Access to the interface is granted to the accommodation provider only with their secret username and password, and via an encrypted SSL/TLS connection. The data you enter will be automatically deleted from the genussregion.tirol web server after 72 hours. The Site Operator receives a copy of your request via email, which is deleted after 14 days.
8. IP ADDRESSES
To detect, prevent, and investigate attacks on their digital platform, IP addresses with timestamps and requested URLs are temporarily stored in log files. Log files containing IP addresses of visitors are automatically deleted after a maximum of 30 days.
9. INTEGRATION OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND CONTENT
This digital platform may include content from third parties, such as YouTube videos and graphics from other websites. This always requires the providers of this content to recognize users' IP addresses, as without the IP address, they could not send the content to the respective user’s browser. The IP address is therefore necessary to display this content. The Site Operator strives to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely to deliver the content. However, the Site Operator has no control over whether the third-party providers may store the IP address, e.g., for statistical purposes. As far as the Site Operator is aware, users will be informed accordingly. A third-party connection will only be established through an active click on the respective “buttons.”
- If you click on a video, a connection will be established to youtube.com to load the video. Your IP address will be transmitted to youtube.com, which is a service of YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
- If you click on an icon of the respective social media plugins, a connection to third-party providers will be established.
- Interactive Map
OpenStreetMap - Germany: This website loads content for map displays from "Openstreetmap.de" (so-called "map tiles"). Your IP address is transmitted to Openstreetmap.de, which is operated by FOSSGIS e.V. from 79199 Kirchzarten, Germany.
Mapbox: As a "fallback" (if Openstreetmap.de is slow), this website loads content for map displays from "Mapbox" (so-called "map tiles"). Your IP address is transmitted to Mapbox.com, a company based in the USA, with headquarters in Washington, D.C., and San Francisco.

The Site Operator uses the newsletter to inform you about news. If you wish to receive the newsletter, the Site Operator needs a valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address or that the owner consents to receive the newsletter. No additional data is collected. This data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be shared with third parties. Upon subscribing to the newsletter, the Site Operator stores your IP address and the date of subscription. This storage solely serves as evidence in the event a third party misuses an email address and subscribes to the newsletter without the rightful owner’s knowledge. You may revoke your consent to the storage of data, email address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time. Revocation can occur via a link in the newsletters themselves or by notifying our team at info@genussregion.tirol (see also "Use and Transfer of Data").
