On Park Day, February 14th, the coaches from "Freeski Austria" will show you how real heights can be achieved, and you will work step by step with the professionals on various skills, including everything from kickers and jumps to rails and boxes. Also joining is freestyler Marco Ladner, who is known to many youngsters especially because of his videos.
Exciting Powder Day
On the second day, you will head out into the backcountry together with certified mountain and ski guides, where young and old can practice using a shovel, probe, and avalanche transceiver. Prior to that, snow and weather reports as well as avalanche danger levels will be closely studied. Thanks to the Ortovox LVS training station and the Powder Department Freeride Checkpoints, this can also be learned in a playful manner at the Stubai Glacier.
Who can participate?
Children and teenagers between the ages of 10 and 14, along with their parents, can participate, with participation without supervision being possible from age 14. All participants should be proficient in snowboarding or skiing and capable of safely navigating black slopes.
