Here is a recipe for a quark spread with cress and radishes, inspired by the flavors of South Tyrol and made with quark from Milchhof Sterzing. You can also try this dish at Hotel Plunhof:

Ingredients:
  • 250 g quark from Milchhof Sterzing
  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • 1 handful of fresh cress
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Optional: lemon juice and a little olive oil for extra freshness
Preparation:
  1. Prepare the radishes:
  • Wash the radishes thoroughly and cut into thin slices or grate.
  1. Prepare the cress:
  • Wash the cress and remove stems if necessary.
  1. Mix the quark:
  • Stir the quark in a bowl until smooth.
  • Add the radish slices and cress and fold in.
  • Season with salt and pepper. For a slightly lemony note, you can add a few drops of lemon juice and a little olive oil.
  1. Chill and serve:
  • Let the spread rest in the refrigerator for a while so the flavors can develop.
  • Stir again and season before serving.
This quark spread is a perfect combination of creamy quark from Milchhof Sterzing and the fresh taste of cress and radishes. A light and healthy dish that you can enjoy at Hotel Plunhof or make at home. Ideal for a South Tyrolean breakfast or as a side dish with bread and crackers. Enjoy!
