The Madreiter baking manufactory has existed since 1907, so for over 110 years, and is now run by Madreiter Fritz in the 3rd generation.

Here, unique baked goods are made from pure natural flours without ascorbic acid or other additives. This makes it possible to bake pure baked goods like the famous Madreiter rolls and much more without E-numbers, which is quite unique in Tyrol. This bakery has a sensationally large selection of all kinds of baked goods still made like in grandpa's time. From yeast-free, vegan, wheat-free wood-fired bread or San Francisco spelt bread, freshly ground whole grain specialties from their own stone mill, fine pastries of all kinds. Baked according to the purity law with revitalized Grander water, natural sourdoughs, and Halit diamond salt containing all 84 minerals. Because this bakery works so purely, there are also suitable baked goods for all kinds of allergy sufferers, from 100% spelt to gluten-free baked goods, and they are even recommended by doctors. This bakery also ships its baked goods worldwide. A special highlight is the naturally preserved canned breads in many varieties, which are shelf-stable for at least 6 months purely through heat treatment. Since 2000, the bakery has also been listed in the Guinness Book of Records with the world's largest Kornspitz, which was as big and heavy as 2,840 regular Kornspitz. Madreiter also won the prestigious Trigos Award in 2013 and has appeared on television multiple times. Madreiter also supplies resellers and the hospitality industry across a wide area. Even Tirol Werbung dedicated a 4-page report in the magazine “Mein Tirol” to the Madreiter bakery for being so special.
